Jīntiān (shì) xīngqī yī. (Today is Monday.)

Jīntiān (shì) xīngqī jǐ? (What day is it today?)

Jīntiān (shì) xīngqī sān. (Today is Wednesday.)

 

Weekdays:

Xīngqī yī (Monday)

Xīngqī èr (Tuesday)

Xīngqī sān (Wednesday)

Xīngqī sì (Thursday)

Xīngqī wŭ (Friday)

Xīngqī liù (Saturday)

Xīngqī tiān (Sunday)

 

Make an appointment:

Xīngqī èr nǐ yŏu shíjiān ma? (Do you have time on Tuesday?)

Yŏu, shénme shì? (Yes, why?)

Wŏmen yīqǐ chī wŭfàn, hăo ma? (Let’s have lunch together?)

Hăo, jǐ diăn? (OK, when?)

Shíèr diăn. (Twelve o’clock.)

Duìbuqǐ, wŏ méiyŏu shíjiān. (Sorry, I have no time.) -> méiyŏu is the negative expression for yŏu.

Méiguānxi. (Never mind.)
