Math BFF – Derivatives & Differentiation

MIT grad shows how to find derivatives using the rules (Power Rule, Product Rule, Quotient Rule, etc.). A derivative is a function that at each point of another function gives the current rate of change, which shows the slope (of the line tangent to the curve) at every point. Most often found using the limit process, though the fastest way to find the derivative using the Power Rule, Product Rule, and Quotient Rule. This video shows the first way, with the definition of the derivative, and how to use it to calculate the derivative, Source: (Mathbff, 2015).
